Actually the Boiler Building which houses the mechanical equipment used to heat the streets, the structure was strategically placed at a focal point and mailboxes were incorporated into the design.

Mountain retreat designed to take advantage of views of the valley and golfcourse just outside of Steamboat Springs, CO.

A small residence built on a tight budget on the Yampa River in the heart of Steamboat Springs, CO. Massing and materials reference context both in terms of historic and climatic character while maintaining a modern aesthetic.

Vacation home on a creek in a golfcourse community just outside of Steamboat Springs, CO.
Orchard Street Residence
A renovation to open the kitchen to the living room in an existing residence. The new space opens up the living area to the views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains.
Park Place
An infill development of a 4 acre parcel that formerly contained a hospital into a mixed density community with a central green. A geo-thermal heating system is used to heat the streets and sidewalks during the long, snowy winters in this mountain town.

Strawberry Park Residence
An addition created to connect an existing residence to the free standing garage. The new kitchen and mud room/laundry have large windows and high ceilings in contrast to the existing historic structure.
Lynn Street Residence
A renovation to modernize and enlarge the kitchen and update the bathroom in an existing craftsman residence. A return to the original craftsman character was combined with modern touches throughout the interior.
